Again, scrunching things around to fit. In this case it's worked out well, with no noticeable impact on layout. I also got rid of the roaches - when this chapter was a New Thing, I was still hacking out the exact abilities of The Dualist, and Thad's sensory perception was considerably more sensitive in this scene than it really ought to be. Also, I hate bugs.
Big phobia, that one.
There was some more "overheard" dialogue between Greymalkin and the doc, but I cut it - it doesn't directly impact the story, and after several attempts there was just no way to fit it in without completely reworking the page.

The layout changed fundamentally twice and conceptually three or four more times after that- I scratched three times on the first iteration of the second layout and revised- pencils were started (for real) around eight thirty and inks were scanned for processing around ten thirty or so. Fortunately the rest of the layout was done by that time, and all that needed to be done was in-panel backgrounds and lighting.
Whew.
