Had to move the photos around to fit the text... which is a partial recap of DCR highlights (highlights of scenes that have yet to be created at this point in time, unfortunately, but which have existed in outline for years). Note to self for future parts of the rewrite : LESS WITH THE TALKING, PLZ. Minor cleanup otherwise.

Edited 20050430 : Patch job on the polaroids. It was quick, it was sloppy, and it still looks a hell of a lot better than the images that have been replaced. The quality of the photos has always irked me... and it's nice to have an excuse to replace them. West still looks like Sonic The Hedgehog in panel one, but if I change that I'll want to change the rest of the page, etc, etc. And that's not happening.
Also, the only time you'll see Thad in fishnets.

More gratuitous boob shots, several layout revisions, and a slow evolution to the final composition, which is far and above better than the rest. First page in the past few weeks I haven't spent hours wanking on with the paint brush. There's something to be said for closed environments with bigass paintings on the walls.
I should also note that I've run out of useable card stock and processed this page using my sketchbook. Unfortunately, unless it's comic production, I sketch in ink- so I didn't notice until Monday night what a horrendous pile of SHIT this sketchbook is for production use. The ink bleeds like a stuck pig, the pencil just kind of oozes around the area you intended to embed with graphite, and the whole process is quite messy and irksome. It also produces amazingly inferior results- note the line quality compared to previous pages. Part of this is due to the fact that I prefer to draw on card stock and use the sketchbook as a drawing board- the surface is much more condusive. I'll hopefully be able to scare up some card stock or bristol soon and get things back to quality, at least in terms of media.
Finished and uploaded in time to wait an hour for another bus- combined with ID hassles on getting a bank account and other things set up. Nevermind the megahassle involved in getting the page produced. The important thing is that without messing with settings or playlists, iTunes kicked into Goblin's Susperia as I was loading the backend.
Go me.
The other neat part of today was the woman who walked by where I was waiting for the bus, towing kids along. This would have been normal minus the fact that she walked over to the curb, stopped, threw up for a good three minutes while the kids stood and watched. She then wiped her mouth and continued on, totally unphased, kids in tow. They acted like it was a normal occurance- despite intensely foul noises that would throw a pig off its lunch.

Also, holy SHIT West looks like Sonic the fucking hedgehog in frame one. I know my anatomy is totally inconsistant, but DEAR GODS WHAT THE FUCK. This is even more disturbing given how the inks for p.14 have turned out. :P Mebbe one of these days I'll either stop sucking or suck consistantly. That or I'll just switch to porn. Or maybe two installments a week instead of three, which should be enough time to stick to a certain level of quality.
