Despite panel one being the reference image for West for many moons, I totally hate this page. I hate it bigtime. Like the previous page, re-laid out from scratch... and for the first time, with too much space in the wrong areas. Or rather, space where there doesn't need to be and no space where there does, or something. Fortunately the rewrite compensates for it, somewhat. As with the previous page, Raven's screen and keypad have been cleaned up and corrected... which in this case involved a minor reshade in addition to the usual drop-and-transform. I've also "bent" the last panel a bit, to help ease into the next page.
I'd have done more in the way of cleanup, but let's be realistic - this one's a stinker!

Took my time putting this one together- more because there's no real urgency tonight than anything else. Already had the inks done and scanned, so all of Saturday/Sunday was photoshop - avoiding the street fair that has consumed my neighborhood, filling it with mullets, buttgravy and genetic debris. Waiting for the bus was the equivalent of watching an inept mother beating badly raised children - only the inept mother was society and the badly raised child was my face. Or something. At least I got a drink in at Zythos before the chaos hit. :)
So. One more day of my neighborhood being mullet hell. Woop. Comic's on what has become the schedule, it seems- two during the week and one on the weekend. Eating 3.17 gigs of disk currently.
Got complements on Xand's butt. :)
And... there's somewhere between five and eight pages left to the chapter. Damned near all of which won't be Work Safe, just so y'all know. ;) Though I'll be testing various methods of keeping the content around the R area, rather than going for a straight NC-17.
And yes, Raven looks kind of weird. :|
Pencils and inks were done literally right after posting page 20 last night- I had enough time to kill and was zinging on Dew, a Starbucks Double Espresso Ass Grenade, and a Red Bull. ZOOM. Hence the quality, more or less. At least on Raven.
As you can likely tell from the dialogue, there's a reason I intend to take some time between ch.1 and ch.2 to thoroughly massage the script, work out kinks, and generally debug the dialogue. Make it suck less, you know?
