Scaled six and seven to match; dropped in one through five and scaled, trimming plenty off of 2-5. All of my wide shots are narrowing! Oh noes!

I could have technically finished this yesterday - easily - but I was worn out from fighting through the anxiety of putting pencil to paper for the first time in almost three weeks. I needed a breather and opted to get drunk with my friend Randy, which seemed like a better idea than staring at a monitor for another three or four hours.

Obviously a bit rusty with the linework - it's been awhile since I've drawn Xand and I think the simplified linework works well with her - and I'm having some issues with the damned camera, which doesn't surprise me at all.

Issues with linework side, the time spent modeling is starting to pay off- I wasn't fucking around with the scene name, as you can see from this full-size snip from the bottom right of panel six:

The speaker brand and model numbers form an obfuscated Joy Division reference, and they're quite a bit nicer than their reference point.

09:42 < solios> the whole "matching ATC lineart to lit 3d backgrounds" thing is... easy.
09:43 < solios> o_o
09:43 < solios> well, sorta.
09:43 * solios framed the shot to make shadow matching stupideasy.
09:44 < ejp> you clearly are forgetting <solios> 3D SUCKS OMG I'M NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN >.< *cries*
09:50 < solios> ejp: it does and I'm not.
09:50 < solios> at least not to this degree.
09:50 < ejp> if you wouldn't model it down to the lightbulb...
09:50 < solios> <3
09:51 < solios> it's what we call a "learning experience" :P

Edit, 20050819 : Added Xand's thong to panel one. Thanks to Martin for pointing out the omission. :)
