I took another shot at rebuilding the face. The head tilt sucked about as much as the original "porno face" - I've done what I can to correct things and generally rework the composition without completely redrawing it. It still has some problems... but so does every other page in the chapter!

Edited 20050510-11 : I was slightly hesitant about redoing this one, as it's an image that everybody seems to like... but it had flaws, dammit. Not that the replacement doesn't... but this one's aesthetically correct. :)
There are some slight perspective issues with the feet - I didn't exactly have a reference of legs floating free in space to work from. The hair is something I actually kept from the original image, as well as the bits I built the background from - I remember the hair taking a damned long time to create, and hey - I got the vectors right the first time. :D
Tweaked 20050511 : Tried to minimize the "bitter beer face". Can't explain how things turned out that way, honestly. :P

In case anyone has any delusions about the original image being better, here's a face comparison. This is pre-photoshop touchups and completely to scale - that is to say, the original wasn't just colored at a lower rez, she was drawn at a lower rez as well.

I've been threatening nekkid for weeks- here it is. Enjoy. :)
The moon took a few passes and completely nuked my workstation about six times- it's fun to find bugs that you can reproduce which nuke OS X faster than you can say "BSOD". The hair was built completely in photoshop using the pen tool, and the inks were cleaned up a bit- I really don't like them, but it was either make an attempt to stay on schedule or spend the entire week working on one page. One page with two lines of dialogue which can be read in about five seconds. :P
In any case. Lotta work. Hypothetically "tastefully nude". You tell me.
