I'm pretty sure this is the current Worst Page Ever. If it isn't, it's definitely in the top ten. Fortunately there's no words, so you can just glimpse, grimace, and continue on.

Okay, this page is complete ass in my opinion, but it's a good deal more dynamic than the page it replaces.... if I still hate it after a good long rest, I'll redo it. Better, stronger, faster, etceteras.

My excuse? Late start on a four second layout after a good amount of walking around in hotass weather, featuring a multi-block haul of a 7300 in an 8500 case and a good deal of sweating in unconditioned third floor bedrooms mixed with too much Industrial Strength iced coffee... you should see the first couple of attempts at the first two panels - drawing with sprung arms is quite the challenge.

Three out of an estimated six pages for this sequence are done- the first one took forever, and the last two were done at the same time. Pencils and inks, scans, base color and environment assembly Friday night, shading and environmental effects on Saturday. Then some time to assemble the NSFW graphic that keeps either of these off of the main page.

I'm not thrilled with the quality of the line work- all I can say is I had the jitters from too many stimulants and was really pissed off at the time. I'm happy the two pages got done at all, really. I'm not the least bit thrilled with the quality - I really need smaller microns. And to do a whole hell of a lot less in the way of uppers - it's hard to ink when you're shakey. Which isn't often, fortunately. :D

This oughtta put the trouble I'm having keeping Xand's chest the right size in perspective.
