Edited 20050514 : Panels two and five were panel two until a few minutes ago. That's the problem with sketching a layout on the bus and then launching right into it as soon as you've unpacked the art supplies - you don't see the flow problems until you're into the assembly phase. Forunately, some minor adjustments and everything reads as it should.

Easily one of the less pleasant pages.

Oh, and layout formulation very rarely requires Serious Thinking. It requires pulling my head out of my ass and getting down with the idea that I can, in fact, do layouts and scripting outside of bars. For good or ill, routines that work aren't something I find myself able to break easily.

Oh, AND. I got rid of another eyeball. I swear, those things are like weeds. :P

25 through 27 were all pencilled and inked Saturday night / Sunday morning. Base color processing and scaling was done Sunday night, and 25 has obviously finished processing. 26 and 27 will be up by the end of the week.

Yes, I've fallen slightly off schedule. Two reasons:

1. Farscape ate my brain. 3 seasons jammed into my skull in a week. Much much love.

2. Layout formulation of the final sequence required doing some Very Serious Thinking (tm) about how the story is going to unfold. I wound up making some major revisions to the underpinings of the entire structure of one facet. These changes will be invisible to the reader or anyone not already intimately familiar with that aspect of the project.

So. We're on track.
