Panel one scaled and cropped; two and three scaled, four and five scaled a bit less but also cropped. Preserving type position and editing ability in panels two and three took some wrangling, and resulted in this page file being quite a bit bigger than most of the others in the scene.

Edited 20050601 : Blown away and redone from the ground up. Polarity 5-7 have been scrapped in their entireties, the space between 4 and 10 has been completely rewritten, and It's All Being Fixed Thank You.

Polarity 5-7 are the three biggest continuity fuckups in the entire comic, and I've been meaning to replace them since I finally pulled my head out of my ass and got some perspective on the ordeal that was the original scene production. Polarity was the kind of pain in the ass comics creators have nightmares about, and figuring out how to defuck it while still maintaining the hangover/dim realization slant hasn't been easy.

But I've got something that works, dammit. So here's the first part of it.

Still gotta work on the hand/head scale thing, obviously. And water. I totally suck at that. Good thing this is pretty much the only instance of falling water in The Dualist!
