20090820 (6) - Croppenscale for 1, 2, 7. Seven suffers least; 1 loses some useless wall and a bit of trunk, 2 winds up centered. Three and six were cropped pretty severely in order to accommodate four and five, both of which were cropped as much as they could be without diluting the composition. Of all panels, six feels like it's been compromised - I'm happy with everything else.

A couple of closeups are in order:

 

Panel one took too damned long to render. It is, in fact, still rendering. I always render a smidge larger than the panel size just in case... and in this case, I spent a good six hours impatiently waiting for the four lines between where the render was at and the target panel height to finally get together and make babies.

On the upside, all of the backgrounds for the next page have been done since Thursday, so there will be another page up shortly. :)
