I still like how Val turned out on this page, even if she is a good 20lbs lighter than she should be. Maybe she weighs the same, and it's all been funneled into arm length?

Okay, so. Val wasn't supposed to look like Rinoa from FF8. Or Tifa or whoever. And she didn't until I started the color processing. :P When I Grow Up, I'll suck less at facial consistency. I promise!

The previous page and - assuming you've been paying attention - a whole lot of other things ought to make {more} sense now.

My first two page layout was polarity 8 and 9, which was where I actually started paying attention to page flow. suction 9 and 10 are the first pair of pages with conjoined borders- rather than two pages side by side, they are effectively one double-width page, as you can see here:

I mean, aside from the fact that Val's forearms are a hair too long.
