I'm totally down with gestural input. Not with a {mouse|trackball|trackpad|tablet|whatever}, though. Too much like doing origami with a pair of uncooked steaks. Seems to me it would be more viable as a completely different (preferably analogue) pointing device. Of course, I'm one of the Select Few who's lefthanded but uses the mouse with his right - I could work so much faster with a tablet if it were possible to use both at the same time.

What does this have to do with the QAR 'interface' ? Watch Minority Report. The computer interface more than makes up for the gratuitous and wholly unnecessary automated-car chase sequence. Why does Hollywood feel so compelled to smear their cliches all over PKD?
