Raised the roof of the first panel, cropped the middle and scaled the seventh (and first on the next page, as they're a matched set). Also dug back to an older version of the original page to fix a weird glitch with Grij's shading in panel one... which then spiraled into a few more tweaks to position and whatnot.

I like the backgrounds so much that I saved a separate version without the type or linework. Check it out.

Eight pages in just under a month. This compares favorably to the ten weeks or so that the previous scene took to produce. Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances (very nearly all of them relating to physical and mental health), I'm nowhere near being Ready To Go with Scene Three, so it's going to be quite awhile before // pause for a few minutes and just kind of stare at the screen as I grope around for the thought and totally fail to find it - the last week has featured quite a bit of this and my head's too sludgy to be afraid or angry about it // the next scene gets rolling.

Anyway. I need a decent amount of sleep and I need to drink less than, say, seven days a week. A positive note for the next scene is that while there's a good amount of stuff that needs to be modeled, it'll be reused extensively in Chapters Five through Seven, and none of it is as detail-heavy as the QAR. Probably a lot of texturing work... though my next "push" in the skills department is going to be modeling a (gasp!) vehicle.

That should be fun. :^)
