Out of the rebuilt pages for this scene, this one has transitioned the most cleanly. It's also one of the few pages to retain "eye of Sauron" shots following the massive purge late in the production of the first edition.

I could have gotten this out faster... but I spent the afternoon both "detailing" the office furniture background (which will be used over the next two pages) and in a semi-comatose state induced by the onset of Plague and (this is the fun part) superexplody back muscles. Damned thing blew out on me while I was unloading gear first thing in the morning at work. Great way to start the day- turning on a museum - a task involving lots of crouching and bending over to open floor-level locks - with a spine screaming HERE COME DA PAIN!.

Fortunately it quickly subsided from icepick of DOOM to meta-cramp muscular grumpiness and has stayed there since. Moving is wooden, and I don't have any painkillers. Consequently, I've been putting the +2 to Willpower I've gained through Quitting Smoking to very, very good use. Go me.

With no painkillers, I tubed out to divx and took liberal amounts of time with the pencils, inks, office furniture, etc, etc. The page isn't without its flaws, but considering the circumstances and the time involved, I'm happy with it. :)

Minor edit- changed the chair in the final panel from a stock one-point side-on to slight three quarters, consistent with the previous two pages. You should have seen the original- a teensy bit of duping and bitflipping makes a HUGE difference.
