Another shot replacement. If you're a first time reader and have been paying attention to the earlier versions of pages, you've probably noticed that the Daedalus is now consistently moving "right," instead of "left," as it did in the first edition(s) of the scene. It's a minor detail, but one of those things that springs out when you're editing a LOT of pages at once.
First Edition Metadata
Edit, 20070721 : Scaled and relettered. You can see the original here. This page was originally marked -s- for "suck," for good reason - this is as fixed as it's going to get.
20070725 : Upgraded the Daedalus render.
===================================================
Thank the gods this is finished. "I had problems producing the page" is a mild, brief sextet of words that just doesn't even begin to describe the issues I had with this- getting Houston completely wrong, botching Shannon, drawing more than I needed (and that badly), nearly scrapping the entire layout until realizing that a render that had been done for velocity 4 that I hadn't used would actually fit the bill. Add in the valuable lesson that the Daedalus bridge should have been completely worked out PRIOR TO USING IT IN THE COMIC EVEN ONCE and holy CRAP you're starting to get an idea of just why exactly I laugh whenever people tell me I should get this published.
I am, strictly speaking, amateur.
So. The Daedalus bridge will be Correct in the next page, and "Practice. A LOT." has been added to the list of things that needs to be done between chapters two and three. It's a long list, and it keeps getting longer.
Woot.
