Aaaaand another one down. Dropped bits off of the first five panels and did some minor cleanup and tweaks.

I remember when I used to spend an entire afternoon cleaning up a single page. Tonight, I've done nine. Nowhere near the same amount of cleanup, obviously - practically no cleanup at all. A lack of patience and an overall increase in quality are contributing factors. That and I still have around a hundred or so pages to go. With numbers like that, 37 base edits in a single week is a good, good thing. Almost makes up for those long periods of Rendering Hell, of waiting a week (or weeks) for a page.

Best. Dialogue. EVER.

The art to dialogue quality ratio is right up there with the average Heavy Metal submission - all I'm missing is a neo-neanderthal and a turboslut with tits tottering around on top of lopsided boots.

The rest of the scene will more than make up for this !Tolstoy-grade exchange, I promise.

Edit, about two hours later : Tweaked panel eight a bit so that Val looks less Dragonball and more ATC.
