Most of my thoughts on this page were expressed in the blurb for the one before. I know Malky doesn't quite match with the background... I tried my best but he's really a 2d no-perspective entity in a fully 3d space, and it shows. Camera FOV mitigated this to an extent, but I figure it's as good as it's getting without a redraw.
Even though this scenelet has been de-spread, it was still processed the same way the chapter-till-now has been - two pages in one bigass file. This made it a heck of a lot easier to shade and letter - if Greymalkin had rambled on for more than two pages, I would have probably done things a bit differently. As it is, it was just plain easier to do it this way than it was, say... some other way.

The new spread isn't much different from the old spread:
However, the whole thing reads a bit better - and that's what matters.
==================================================
If these things have been annoying you, you'll be happy to learn that the next two pages are going to be much more traditional.
Damn, that's a big fucking panel.
Don't worry about the red light moving around in the sky. You'll get no explanation from me- I have no idea what the damned thing is. They're like weeds in north central PA and south central NY, which is where Greymalkin is at the moment. xeno and I have seen them multiple times- they have a funny habit of slowing down, speeding up, and/or completely disappearing without notice.
There's also a hell of a lot of military air traffic in that area, which probably has something to do with it.
Nice to be finished before midnight for a change... despite this being quite possibly the worst illustration of Greymalkin to date. Funny how the ass is always what ends up on the top for a few days. :P
Can't wait to start on the next scene... exposition never seems to come out as well as the OMFGWTF!!!! bits.
======
Greymalkin is on 2 and making observations on things happening on 1. He can do that- he's a Wild And Crazy Guy.
Basic rule of thumb is that every number in front of the decimal point of an HRD reading is the number of Annex levels a person can sense "through" with proper training. Higher-level individuals can sense each other like extremely strong magnets in near proximity- Greymalkin knows Grij is there the way you know you'll need to take a dump in the near future... and Grij will doubtless pick up on Greymalkin as soon as he adapts to an AEI that's roughly 1/10th of what he's used to.
