20090813 (7) - Three and four have been cropped severely so that the other panels might live. And by "live" I mean "have enough space for dialogue." The end result makes panel four look a bit screwy, but I'm willing to live with that.
20090912 (20) - Lettered.

You'd think Greymalkin would have noticed a lack of explosions occuring on the basement level he was in, wouldn't you?
Yeah.
However. It's been my experience that initiates - of all levels, of all paths - are mind-bogglingly oblivious to certain types of stimuli. They either don't notice, or they're purposely ignoring {it|you}. It's probably line noise on the Intergalactic Cable Box they've got in their heads.
Or gas.
=============================
The last week has been pretty meh. No interacting-with-people Life Shittiness, fortunately. Just heat. Two weeks of four to five hours of sleep a day, tops - waking up drowning in sweat thanks to The Heat. Bad time of year to be living in an attic.
So I (finally) bought an air conditioner - I couldn't really afford it, but I can afford living without a decent night's sleep even less. I've had it for two days, I'm back to logging my usual seven to ten, and suddenly BLAMMO!. Pages again. Yay.
The next three are completely rendered, and there's only one panel left to render of the fourth - after that it's back to modelling and then the home stretch. It's all shitloads of linework, so pages won't be dropping as fast as the Alias/Grij bits were, but everything's still on schedule.
Also in the past week : xeno found an M-41a pulse rifle, I rediscovered Fark, and my Murkrow has been humping a Shadow Stone for 30 levels and still won't evolve. So I'm back in the loving arms of Castlevania. I figure if I'm going to level-grind on the bus, I'm going to do it while killing zombies and listening to some bitching j-pop. "Fainting" stuffed toys in slow motion with the volume knob in the "no light jazz plz" position is so last week.
And.
Thanks to the local Quiznos having a very loose idea of "11 am" (read that as "we're not opening, at all, and forgot to tell anyone"), Saturday's lunch hour begat the first volume of The Invisibles instead of the desired greasy breaded meatthing. Sixty pages in and the greasy meat can die screaming - I have a new hotness to spend money on. A new hotness that I've managed to not read for the past ten years.
Aside from the Rotten Library entry and an issue my ex roommate left in the bathroom once. Which was, coincidentally, the one on the right in the Rotten entry.
I'm glad I "waited." So many print comics suck so much ass that the good ones have got to be tightly rationed. And I'd rather read one really good comic series or graphic novel a year than downgrade my mind with a monthly dose of X-Men, JLA, etc.
Remind me not to do long metadata posts. It feels like I've spent more time editing and tweaking this bit than I spent shading the page.
