Panels 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 have retained their original aspect ratios. The height has been filled with the new renders of 1 and 2. I started with the same CG file as the previous Daedalus and Cheops appearance, liked the lighting to the planet, put the camera where I wanted it for the ships and then spun the planet around to where they'd actually be at this point - off of South America, on the night side (near here, as it's already Some Kind Of Daylight where Thad's at). Not much different from the original renders (which were a huge improvement over the original photoshop), but consistent and a smidge prettier.

20070728 : Visual overhaul. Previous page here.
Edited 20050429 : Fixed the type around panel one and repositioned it. Debated encasing the dialogue between Shannon and Polaski in more appropriate text bubbles, but it doesn't seem necessary.
Massaged the dialogue a bit as well.

Whew. Gods.
Planetary goodness, base layouts and lettering done on Thursday. Laid in the Daedalus, Pencilled the line art on Friday and realized I was, in fact, too hung over to proceed (at nine PM no less). Inks and everything else today. Finished the page and realized I'd done the entire thing at the wrong aspect ratio- 8x10 instead of 7.5x10, which is the ATC Standard. Recut the panels and managed to preserve the layout. Saved everything to the wrong directory.
At this point last year, I was having similar problems with another page. At the time I was managing a page roughly every other day- I seem to have slowed down quite a bit since then. In getting them out, anyway.
Also, visual continuity error I didn't catch until everything was shaded. I've already adjusted Things to address this at the soonest convenience. Fortunately, it's relatively minor.
18:39 <@bda> "crank crank"?

18:39 < solios> they make a creaky-cranky noise when you load the cocaine.
